The 3B product range is fully customizable in terms of covering one threat or 10 threats. We can design your project according to your concerns and we can provide walls and gates as high as 35ft and as low as 6ft. We have the solutions on hand to give you exactly what you want.
Our unique testing regime was devised for many reasons. The main one being our clients wanted a product much more robust than a UL752 and NIJ standard, they wanted a product that would provide the best protection to save their assets in terms of a heavy ballistic or blast attack.
Both the UL 752 and NIG standards are prestigious certifications for a product to achieve, and 3B has them all, but is that enough to validate a product for a real-life scenario? The answer is no.
An assailant that is planning to attack your assets is more likely to come along heavily armed as their goal is to do as much damage as possible, as quickly as possible. By implementing 3B for your ballistic and blast walls, gates, doors, and/or buildings, it will create a nice delay mechanism as the likelihood of them bringing thousands of ballistic rounds is minimal.
The above scenario is what gives our clients peace of mind when they choose 3B. What also gives our clients peace of mind is that we perform live ballistic and blast demonstration events where they can witness 3B’s capabilities in person. Over the past several years, 3B has held many events covering the entire United States, where hundreds of people have witnessed our testing regime first hand, all of whom are shocked when we unload thousands of rounds into our wall structures including UL Level 10 rounds without breaching the structure.
At many of our demonstrations, live blast testing was also conducted using a variety of different charge weights including but not limited to, C4, RDX, and carefully prepared satchel and backpack charges directly against a 3B wall. RPG simulation was also conducted.
In other testing, we performed a week-long series of live fragmentation explosions, these varied in charge weights and sizes. These tests gave us critical data on how 3B would perform against certain bomb threats such as a pressure cooker, pipe bomb, heavy mortar round, and IED, at the highest end we witnessed lumps of steel fragments traveling at velocities of 7500 FPS.
